Jennifer Lopez is shirking major trends in favor of timeless summer staples when it comes to her life off the red carpet.

On June 23, Lopez was spotted out and about in Los Angeles sporting an open-back, strappy black halter dress, and matching heels. Aside from her green engagement ring, which was prominently shown on her left ring finger, the Halftime star access.

On the red carpet and at press appearances, Jennifer Lopez is known to wear the wholesale fashion newest trends, such as sheer dresses and oversized blazers, but her everyday wardrobe is more likely to consist of workout-friendly loungewear and classic pieces. The singer only wears breathable outfits and espadrille sandals during the summer.

On the set of the new film, Lopez was recently seen making out with fiancé Ben Affleck while sporting a pair of black platform espadrilles and a linen DKNY jumpsuit. With another pair of espadrille shoes, a white eyelet maxi dress, and gold hoops a few days previously, Lopez looked downright bridal. The singer can be seen in a few of the paparazzi photos wearing a long, beige knit cardigan over the dress and having her hair up in a casual bun.

Recently, Lopez honored her fiancé in a number of heartfelt Father's Day postings. While Affleck and Lopez share three children with their ex-wives, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, Lopez and her ex-husband Marc Anthony share twins Max and Emme, who are 14 years old.
